📋 Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced IT Project Manager for a permanent position with a leading Edmonton enterprise technology client. This is a high-impact role responsible for end-to-end delivery of complex IT programs across infrastructure, software, and digital transformation mandates.
The successful candidate will work closely with C-suite stakeholders, vendor partners, and cross-functional delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a hybrid role with flexibility between on-site collaboration and remote work, based out of Edmonton, Alberta.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Lead full project lifecycle from initiation through closure using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Manage project budgets ranging from $500K to $5M+ with rigorous cost controls
- Build and maintain detailed project schedules, risk registers, and stakeholder communication plans
- Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and steering committee presentations
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and manage SLA compliance
- Identify and escalate risks and issues with recommended mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior project coordinators and business analysts on the team
- Produce executive-level reporting and project dashboards
🎯 Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience in enterprise environments
- PMP certification (active)
- Proven delivery of projects $1M+ in scope
- Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
